Magblock Universal Pistol Limiter kit allows for a custom solution for most standard pistol magazines. Requires cutting of the Magblock for a custom fit. As shipped it will limit most magazines to much less than 10 rounds.
- Save time and money! Plus don't let the government take your legal property without compensation.
- Fits most double stack magazines from .380, 9mm, .40, and .45 magazines.
- These are recommended for gunsmiths and hobbyists who don't mind experimenting with the length to get the fit they want. We do offer these as an option for many magazines already precut. We do have a page with all the lengths posted for tested magazines.
- Patented adjustment mechanism and end profile that prevents the limiter from sliding off the follower.
- No modification to the magazine is required.
- Lightweight and will not interfere with magazine reliability.
- PLEASE NOTE: Requires cutting of the Magblock for a custom fit. This can be done with large wire cutters, a hacksaw, flush cut pliers or similar hand tools. A dremel may also work, but be sure to safely secure the part in a vice first. See the FAQ section for details or our Youtube Universal Pistol Limiter Video.

Just installed the Universal Mag Block on magazines for a new Sphinx SDP Compact.
The installation could not have been easier. Load 10 rounds or what ever your state limit is.
Remove base plate. The spring tension will be strong so be aware of that (youcan also remove the spring with the mag empty and reload the magazine upside down, this is just a little trickier) Once the spring is out, and with the magazine upside down, (don’t want the rounds to fall out), fit the magblock and adjust to the base plate and cut. Remove rounds and reassemble the magazine with the magblock. This should be a Dry-Fit only to ensure you have the measurement correct. Load the magazine with the adjusted magblock installed. If you hit the new limit set, you should be good. Load and empty a few times to make sure it cycles properly. If it does, your done! Remove rounds, disassemble and epoxy and reassemble. This is an Amzing Inexpensive Solution if you live in a state that requires limited low capacity magazines. (Posted on 11/22/2018)
